Having sore muscles during or after training is NORMAL but there is often a misunderstanding of exactly what is soreness and what is an injury. You’ve probably heard the term lactic acid before, it’s what we generally ‘blame’ for our muscle soreness. However, it can actually act as a protective mechanism for our muscles. It’s important to know when it’s a useful signal and when it’s a warning!
